Torchlight の Update Patch 1.12 が公開されました。アップデート内容は下に載せておきました。詳しくは Official Forum: Runic Patch – Vendor updates を見てください。

Runic Games から直接買った人は、もうパッチをダウンロードできます。注意書きをよく読んでから、パッチを使ってください。

This if a FULL REINSTALL. The packaged files for the patch changed entirely to improve loading times, so a full reinstall is necessary.

If you are patching, you’ll need to uninstall your previous version.

BACK UP YOUR SAVE GAMES! Your uninstaller may ask you if you want to delete your save games. Make sure that it is UN CHECKED!

If you want to be extra safe, you can manually back up your saves – I’d recommend this. Better safe than sorry!

他のダウンロードサイトから購入した人は、それぞれでリリースに違いがあるようです。Steam版は、

となっています。

Ruin Games による Torchlight が 2009/10/27 に定価 $20 で発売となりました。Runic Games は、Wikipedia によると、

Runic Games is a computer game company formed by Travis Baldree (creator of Fate), Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer (co-founders of Blizzard North), and the Flagship Studios Seattle team responsible for Mythos. Following the dissolution of Flagship Studios in 2008, all 14 members of the Seattle team signed onto Runic Games, and the company is currently developing Torchlight, an action role-playing game similar to their previous project Mythos.

ゲームは Hack and Slash タイプで、Diablo 2 や Titan Quest 、Mythos に似た感じとなっています。
