Machinarium は Amanita Design というデベロッパーによる Point-and-Click のタイプのゲームです。

Amanita Designというところは、以前はFlashゲームを作っていたようです。Samorost と Samorost2 が有名らしいです。今回の Machinarium もFlashベースのゲームとなっています。

ちなみに Amanita Design の Jakub Dvorsky さんは、Amanita Design がより多くのお金を得るために、このゲームを GamersGate や Steam などから買うのではなく公式サイトから買って欲しいと言っています。

Machinarium の 75%OFF のセールです。Soundtrack もついて $5 です。期間は 8/5 ～ 8/12。このセールには違法にダウンロードをしてしまった人に対するメッセージが込められている様です。そのため画像も Pirate になっているのでしょう。セールの名前も「Machinarium Pirate Amnesty」になっています。2010/8/6 現在、日本円で ￥444 です。

Machinarium は Demo をプレイしただけでまだ購入していなかったのでこの機会に購入しました。Steam版には付いてこない Soundtrack が魅力的。FastSpring(Amanita Design Store) で購入が完了するとダウンロードリンクが表示されます。メールでもこのリンクを通知してくれます。このリンクをクリックするとダウンロードが開始されます。このリンクは14日間しか使えないみたいですが、何らかのトラブルにより再ダウンロードしたい時はサポートに連絡すると大丈夫そうです。

MarioSequencer というシーケンサーを偶然発見しました。これはマリオペイントに入っていた作曲ソフトを再現したものです。懐かしさもあり、少しの時間作曲を楽しんでしまいました。

このソフトの作者のサイトは現在公開されていないようです。こちら(マリオシーケンサー -- マリオペイント作品展示室) にまとまった情報がありました。

このソフトは制限があり、1つの楽譜につき24小節しか作れません。また、一拍に同時に配置できる音符は3つです。3和音までしか作れないという事です。あと低いシから高いソまでしか音符を置けません。これらの制限は実際のマリオペイントではどうだったのか覚えていませんが、3和音までしか作れなかったのは実際のマリオペイントでもそうだったと記憶しています。

作った曲を置いておきます。メロディックな曲を作ろうと思っていましたが…。

こんなものを YouTube にアップロードして良かったのでしょうか…。この曲を作っている時に24小節制限に気付きました。これは厳しいです。もっとしっかりと構成してからでないと24小節に収まりません。最後はやる気なさげに曲を無理矢理終わらせてしまいました。あと3和音制限もなかなか厳しいです。どうしても音圧を意識してしまう為、低音が欲しくなってしまいます。この低音に1つ音符を使ってしまう為、二重旋律にしようかと思いましたがちょっと厳しい。ちょっとだけ頑張りましたが。

なお、このソフトは作った曲をクリップボードへコピーすることができます。下のコードをコピーして、「クリップボードからデータ貼り付け」を行うと上の曲の楽譜を再現できます。

MarioSequencer の情報を検索していたところ Mario Paint Composer というソフトを発見してしまいました。Windows と Mac 版があります。こちらは様々な制限がクリアされており、シャープやフラットなども入力できます。今からちょっとだけソフトを弄って懐かしさに浸りたいという人はこちらのソフトを使った方が色々と便利だと思います。

それにしても懐かしい気分になりました。マリオペイントではハエ叩きばかりやっていた気がします。

I think I should have written the explanation for the vid, so it’s my fault. Those guys volonteered to help villagers fight the upcomming fire. Half an hour before the footage was taken, they safely used the road, which in the video, as you can see, is on fire, to come to the village in the first place. When they understood that nothing can be done in the village and everything will eventually burn, they’ve decided to drive away asap. But to their surprise the fire got to the road first. Now the reason why they wanted to go back is that there are two roads to the Tamboles village. the one they used in the video (the shortest one) and circumurban road (the longest) due to the fact they wanted to get away asap they’ve chosen the shortest.

緊張感のある動画。実際にこのような状況になった時落ち着いて行動できるか不安です。7月の終わりから8月に掛けてロシアで発生した wildfire 時の動画みたいです。目の前に車が見えた時には安心してしまいました。S.T.A.L.K.E.R. を少し思い出しました。

これは素晴らしい。猿などよりもうまく芸をしている気がします。ここまで綺麗に指示に従ってくれるとは。1:50 あたりの輪を棒にいれる場面では色を識別しています。

動画をアップロードした方は Kili Parrot さんですが、最初 Kill Parrot に見え、Parrot が好きなのにどうして Kill なのだろうと思ってしまいました。見間違えで良かったです。
